In this life we cannot do great things. We can only do small things with great love." – Mother Teresa

I have just been watching Karol the Pope the Man and doing the ironing at the same time. Pope John Paul II was truly an amazing, courageous man. He inspires me with the love that he showed to all people and the little things he did to make a difference. God Bless you Papa.

It is amazing how satisfying it is to pick and cook your own vegetables. Tonight I cooked beetroot and it bought back childhood memories of when Mum used to cook the beetroot and also when she grated it and we had it with a roast dinner on a Sunday.Today Eileen's grandson Jacob came over to help me and he planted some chinese cabbage seeds for me. We then planted rockmelon and watermelon. Next week Michael is going to help us to brick pave around all the garden beds. I am on a steep learning curve and the message tonight spoke of learning "Do not be afraid to embrace the more simple way of life. Prepare well. Take time to study and learn how to live more simply. It is important for you to be prepared. Ask for guidance when you lack knowledge or understanding and you will be given it. Seek the answers to your questions and you will find them. Call upon the guidance of the Holy Spirit. Pray always with an expectant heart." (message received by Eileen and posted on http://www.weepingmadonna.blogspot.com/)
