Repurposing a bed into a bench

On Friday we were given a King size single bed.  The end of the bed had come apart so my sister and I decided to make a seat for down at her farm in Dwellingup.  We cut down the sides of the bed and then used the struts to make the seat.  Next we will cut a piece of foam and cover it for the cushion.  We have to add arm rests.  Below is a pic before and after.  This is a seat for a mudroom as the cupboard next to it houses all the gumboots.
